We aim develop and utilise the skills of Young Adult Carers, who are currently not in Education, Employment or Training.  This will consist of confidence building workshops, self-care, interview skills, CV writing and training.

The dedicated worker will work closely with organisations and partners in West Dunbartonshire to establish links for training, volunteering and employment. Aftercare Support will also be offered for a period up to 3 months once in Further Education and Employment.  

The project will run during their normal group sessions which as a result won't deter their time away from the cared for person.
