The Programme would be delivered 3 days per week (4 hours per day) for 14 weeks
Stages 3 and 4
Open to All Age Groups
" Industry experts in course - industry-led sessions throughout the course - series of 1-hour tutorials provided F2F or using conference cameras
" Industry experts online - for additional support and question sessions
" Job awareness skills developed through monitoring of Job roles/opportunities coming through a Hospitality portal for the region
" Preparation for a mock-interview with college-based professional Chefs and/or industry involvement in this process
" Participants will undertake a level of industry immersion as well as skills development based on industry expert involvement in co-designing the programme
" Specific and relevant training and skills development in the SQA units as detailed in 1-5 below
" Opportunity to experience working within a college training kitchen setting
" Access to online learning materials and personal development activities
" Workshops will give participants the opportunity to increase confidence, motivation, transferable skills, increase work ethics and leadership practice allowing progression to education, training, or employment
