This is a 16 week programme. Timescales may differ based on individual candidate circumstances

Stage 1
On enrolment to the programme, candidates are issued with their Theory Test study login details, this will enable candidates to begin their self-study at home. As part of their ongoing support, the central point of contact at GTG can access the portal which would allow us to monitor the candidates progress. Candidates will attend 2 Mock Theory sessions at GTG Training Glasgow, enabling GTG to offer further support for candidates.
Stage 2
In order for candidates to obtain the provisional entitlement on their licences, GTG will arrange for the required medicals to be carried out at GTG Glasgow. GTG will ensure that all application paperwork is completed prior to posting to DVLA.
Stage 3
When the candidate receives their licence back from the DVLA, theory tests will be booked at the Dumbarton Test Centre. Candidates will complete their Multiple Choice, Hazard Perception & Drivers CPC Case Study Theory Test. Included within the programme costs, candidates will receive 1 resit of each of the theory tests. Further tests will incur additional costs.
Stage 4
On successful completion of their theory tests, candidates will be booked to attend 5 days Category C Practical Training at GTG Glasgow. Whilst on their driver training a daily review will be carried out by the instructor, this will enable us to determine if any other support or training requirements are required. Any issues will be dealt with on an individual basis to determine what actions are to be taken. Included within the programme costs candidates will receive 1 resit of their practical test. 2 hours re-training will also be provided before their test. Further tests will incur additional costs.
