Programme Outline

Skills Development Scotland have a team of QCG qualified Career Coaches who offer Career Guidance and Employability support to 16-19 year olds, within both centres in Clydebank and Dumbarton.  School Career Coaches deliver Career Management Skills support to pupils in each of West Dunbartonshire’s secondary schools, supporting pupils with the transition from school to post school opportunities.

Work Coaches offer intensive support to vulnerable young people and focus on confidence building, developing career management skills and advocating on their behalf to access opportunities. Personal Advisers provide Employability support to all ages and signpost to services; they are centre based but also support delivery in schools and community settings. Our 20 + Career Coach provides Career Guidance support to adults and co-ordinates the delivery of PACE redundancy services.

Skills Development Scotland is a referral agency for customers who wish to access the Employability Fund training provision.
