Referral Arrangements

16 – 24 years old, not in employment, education or training.

Please telephone or email a member of Street League staff to discuss the referral.  We will then meet the young person to gauge their interest in the programme and tell them a bit more about it.  We can invite young people along to our regular football and dance fitness tasters.

Programme Outline

NTSF Stage – 1

 

Our 8-week NTSF programme involves aiming to remove barriers to work and supporting young people into a positive destination. It is available to anyone aged 16-29 and unemployed.

 

Participants will take part in two sessions per week which will include the following activities:

  • Improving confidence, communication and motivation

  • Aiming to support/remove barriers to employment (mental health issues, addiction, homelessness, long term unemployed etc.)

  • Improve and understand skills and qualities

  • CV support

  • Interview techniques/preparation & mock interviews

  • Job/college searching and application support

  • Sport/fitness sessions

 

Participants can earn up to £80 Asda vouchers whilst on the programme.

 

Employability Fund - Stage 2

 

Our 10-week EF programme involves aiming to work on employability skills, personal development and removing barriers to help support young people into a positive destination. It is available to anyone ages 16-24 and unemployed, not in education or training.

 

Participants will take part in four sessions per week Monday to Thursday and will include the following activities:

  • CV writing and support

  • Interview skills and techniques

  • Mock interview preparation

  • SCQF Level 3 Qualification

  • Sport and fitness sessions

  • College application support

  • Personal statement support

  • Skills and techniques

  • Workshops improving communication, teamwork, confidence, motivation and interpersonal skills.

  • Aiming to support/remove barriers to employment (mental health issues, addiction, homelessness, long term unemployed etc.)

  • Employer talks/ partner workshops (mental health issues, addiction, homelessness, long term unemployed etc.)

 

Participants can get up to £55 per week
