Programme Outline

Working4U Adult Learning and Literacies Team offers a range of opportunities to help develop confidence, personal skills and gain qualifications.

Taking a learner-centred approach, we support learners to achieve learning goals in personal, family, community and work life.

We offer courses in communities across West Dunbartonshire, including certificated SQA units in partnership with West College Scotland (WCS).

Starter courses including: Adult Literacies; Digital Friends; Confidence Building; English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL); Family Learning

Partnership with West College Scotland: a variety of SQA certificated courses delivered at SCQF levels 3-6. Courses include the following subject areas: Child Development; Health & Social Care; Personal Development; Fashion Textile Technology; IT Skills; Essential Skills; and Humanities 

Volunteering Opportunities: opportunity to support learners in Digital Friends, Adult Literacies, ESOL and Learner Voice.
