The Council’s Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship programme offers paid employment to 16-24 year olds and lasts between 2-4 years depending on the vocational area.
Level 3 Modern Apprenticeships are offered in: Business and Administration; Greenspace; Construction (Craft), Construction Technical, Child Care, Cultural and Creative, IT and Automotive (Mechanic).
A modern apprenticeship allows the development of soft skills including communication, numeracy, IT, problem solving and teamwork.
