Carers of West Dunbartonshire is an independent, voluntary organisation which is managed by a voluntary Board of Directors. There are approximately 10,000 carers living in West Dunbartonshire.
The organisation aims to provide a range of services which will support carers and allow them to fulfil their caring role in the most healthy, knowledgeable and positive manner.
The Carers’ Centre is the office base of the Management Team, Carer Support Workers and the Administration Staff. They are there to help you with enquiries, provide a listening ear and offer support, both practical and emotional. Complementary therapies, carers’ training and group work are also available to carers.
Carer Support Workers can provide support via telephone, email, video call, or face-to-face visits (subject to Covid-19 restrictions).
